We keep on thanking Allah
for all his
his blessing,
his mercy
and his forgiveness.
The last 10 nights of Ramadan,
one of the highly recommended
prayer duas
that our Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam taught
his beloved wife Aisha
To say is Allahumma
Innaqaafoon
tohibul
if you are
making the prayer for yourself.
But if you are making a prayer for
everybody,
use it for
Anna.
This is a very short prayer
but this prayer
was taught by our prophet.
So anything the prophet
taught us is something that we should
be happy with.
Telling Allah, oh Allah,
you are
the one
who forgive.
And you love
to forgive.
So forgive me.
It's very important for all of us, brother
and sister,
who have been learning about Islam, the Quran
and the Sunnah,
With the right knowledge,
not to go against the Quran and sunnah.
Dua
the imam also talk about and make dua
to Allah to make us
people who follow the Quran.
But again the faitan
came to this generation not in the time
of the prophet,
not in the time of the companion,
not in the time of
the sahaba or they call it tabi'in,
Tabi'in, no.
Lately,
you have a group of people who just
want to follow the Quran.
No sunnah at all.
That is very, very dangerous.
They thought that
they can understand
the Quran without following Prophet Muhammad.
Why do we follow the prophet?
Because Quran told us to follow the prophet.
Why we don't follow the majority?
Because Quran said don't follow the majority.
Why don't we follow our tradition, our
our forefather?
Because Quran said no.
Why don't we just follow the scholar? The
Quran also said no.
The Quran call us
to follow Quran
and the sunnah
to the extent Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala remind
us.
Got 3 levels.
You who believe, obey Allah without condition,
unconditional
obedience,
submission,
and the messenger of Allah.
Then also you have a duty to obey
the leaders.
The leaders start by yourself.
The prophet said,
Every one of you is a leader to
yourself.
You cannot just
give excuses,
and you are responsible
to yourself.
Remember what Allah said in Surah Isra,
wa'aleizalili
insan ilamasa.
We are not
responsible to other people's doing.
You are responsible to what you yourself are
doing.
Allah, what is your turn with ra'uqra?
Allah continued by saying,
my sin I bear it. Your sin you
bear it.
Unless I am the one who
teach you to do all this, bidda, khorafat,
and shirk,
then I also
be responsible.
I'm misguiding
you.
So when
come to human
other than Allah and the prophet,
your obedience
there is a limit.
Then Allah said,
If you are confused,
dispute, disagree,
you argue about matters
about this religion.
No more ulil amri.
Back to Allah and back to the prophet.
No more also the leaders know,
because
leaders like you and me we are human.
We have a lot of weaknesses. We may
do a lot of
mistakes. Just go back to the Quran and
the sunnah.
We were not with you last night because
we pay a visit every year
to the markas
of
people who follow Quran and Sunnah from the
50s.
That is the first place
that we start our activities
in Penang.
So normally every year
we try our best to visit them,
to give them motivation,
encouragement
and make them remember that this
Anusarwar
sunnah have been existing from the 50s.
Alhamdulillah.
And the people is there,
still very strong, alhamdulillah.
They send a salaam to all of us,
alhamdulillah. Yeah.
Brothers and sisters,
following a sunnah is something very very beautiful.
If you are given the opportunity
to understand the sunnah,
don't miss it, don't take it lightly.
Why? Because
there is our
love towards our prophet son of ahsana.
The prophet has said to us none of
you can be a true believer
until you love me more than you
love anyone else.
I have shared this beautiful hadith to all
of you from time to time
but I do not know how many of
us have this understanding
and are responding to this hadith.
None of you can be a true believer
until you love me, the prophet subhanahu wa
sallam.
Like how the prophet love us, we should
respond
the same more than your children,
more than your parent,
more than anyone else.
So when prophet said that also, Omar
want the companion, we know who is Omar,
the second caliph
of our prophet,
Amiru Muqmanin.
The first hadith when you read in Sahib
Bukhari
is from him.
Amiru'ukminin,
Omar Ibn Kathab said, samit to rasluwah
samabla samyakul
inna mal aatmalu
about intention.
You remember I shared with all of you
the 3 eyes?
Do you still remember the tree
eye? Not the eye here.
Yeah, the horu, the letter I.
Maybe one day I will ask you 1
by 1.
Yeah.
Simple thing I want you all to remember
so that you can

Nothing is more important than that.

Omar said, I love you, You Rasoolba,
more than my parents,
more than my children,
my wife,
my friend,
except
myself.
Omar was very straightforward. I still love myself
more.
He thought that there is a big deal
and it's okay, you know.
Then the prophet, you are not
a true believer yet.
Until you even love me more than yourself.
People can go against you, brother and sister.
They can disagree with you, no problem,
But
if you are following those sunnah and they
don't like you,
you cannot sacrifice that sunnah
just to please the people. No way.
If you don't know, what can you do?
But if you know this is a sunnah
authentic hadith that the prophet want you to
do, no way you want to sacrifice that
to please anybody.
That should be the love
that we must have, we have to build
in our life.
If you do that, brother and sister,
then
you will feel the sweetness of iman.
Iman has pace, brothers and sisters. Our iman
is tasteless
because we don't respond
very well.
1 of the du'a, again, the imam said,
we hope that we follow the Quran.
We memorize the Quran.
We understand the Quran.
We act upon the Quran.
The Quran will bear witness to us in
the day of judgment,
but if you go against the Quran, remember,
Quran will go against you.
It's very important to understand He can give
you
shafa'am
and bear witness,
then He can also
bear witness against you.
We hope
Quran will not
go against us,
but the way we look at
the Muslim today,
most of us will have a lot of
problem.
We could we love to please people.
We love so many things more than Allah
and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
But this du'a that the prophet taught
to Aisha
to Aisha radiallahu
anhu.
Say that: O Allah, You are forgiving.
You love to forgive. You love forgiveness, forgive
us.
We hope this last 10 days,
the peak of the Ramadan,
we are ready to make changes.
We don't have
many days to go.
After you reach the 10, the last 10
of ramadan,
you can see it's going to
move very fast.
And you know what extra activities that we
can do, not extra prayer,
extra rakat, no,
if you can.
It's Ithaca.
But there's one hadith
about itikaf and we have been
having a very deep discussion
before
the 9/11.
Where? In America.
I was there.
Scholars from Sudan, Jordan, Syria,
Middle
East gathered there to discuss.
There's one hadith
that a lot of Muslim are not exposed
to.
Even they are exposed to, they still have
doubt.
This hadith
is from Hosefa.
Hosefa is one of the companions of the
prophet
where the prophet Solas salam
loved to inform him the name of the
hypocrites that lived in the time of the
prophet.
So when somebody dies,
if the prophet does not attend the funeral
prayer,
means he is a hypocrite.
The prophet don't want to make any prayer
for them.
So when Omar become the caliph,
when there is a funeral,
Omar wait for Huzaiva
because the companions love to participate in the
funeral prayer, they don't miss
it. If whosoever is not there, oh man
will not pray.
So he said,
Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu, sallam,
mentioned
La
iktikaf.
Scholars of hadith
argue.
Is the Quran say itikaf in any masjid?
Yes, the Quran used the word masajid,
plural.
The hadith of the prophet also used plural,
almasajit.
Meaning
there is few rules about itikaf.
Today people who
go into Ithaca
have a lot of challenges.
You are not supposed to go in with

without fasting.
Because of this hokum of iktigah,
people come up with the general idea.
Any mosque when you enter
even in not in Ramadan
you can iktigar.
No, it comes as a package.
First
it must be
in mosque,
and not just any mosque, mosque that called
Jarmak
where Jumma'at is there because the person who
eat the calf cannot leave the mercy even
to visit the sick one, You are not
supposed to go.
Just make prayer for them. You only leave
the mosque
for what? If you are sick, you need
treatment,
going to the call of nature, of course
we have to live.
Eat everything
in sight. There must be people who will
look after your affair.
They must have some arrangement.
You are the guest of Allah.
This is what iktikav is.
Number 1: not anywhere.
Number 2:
with fasting.
Why the prophet normally were iktiktaf, 10
last
day of Ramadan.
I did
share with all of you because that is
the time

The Bapfaf had said, I was given the
knowledge by Allah which night,
which day,
But then I came to
to meet up the companions. Their 2 companions
was arguing,
then Allah make the prophet forget.

the last odd night 21,
23,
25,
27,
29.
Some Hadeus said look for 27 only, some
said 24.
So
to be saved, 10:9.
This is the time
the prophet will
increase his deeds.
If he
want to help anybody, he cannot just go
out, he will inform somebody to do on
his behalf,
Do more charity,
you know, increase your deeds
not only for yourself,
also increase the good deed to help other
people.
That's why we remind every one of us
don't miss the opportunity.
If everybody would try the best to do
for the sake of Allah,
inshaAllah,
we will
meet up with Leilah to Kadar.
Yeah, just do your level best.
One thing that I like to add tonight,
it just happened tonight.
We have a brother
who was
not able
to sit in between 2 sujoods.
He got a knee or leg injury,
he cannot sit between the 2 sujood but
he can make sujood.
Maybe the sister may witness something happened today,
yeah.
I informed the brother to sit
behind,
put the chair, the lasa
because he said I can make sujood.
Should
I
try my best? I said, yeah, if you
can you do, only you cannot sit in
between 2 suju, so it's between 2. So
you sit back on the chair
because Allah said, fatakula master taqum, whatever you
can do, do. Your level best. Thing that
you can't do that is the only thing
that you can excuse yourself
to use any kind of
means for you to see.
And this is something we have to learn,
yeah.
So whoever among us the sister feel that
she can go down, the only thing she
cannot sit in between
the 2
sujood, then try your best to go down.
Yeah. And you will know better about your
condition.
So did I share with you about some
homework a few nights ago?
Yeah.
I also
forgot now.
I share many, many things with all the
good brothers and sisters.
I said,
identify
your enemy.
I believe all of us know your enemy
already.
Because without knowing your enemy, you cannot
protect yourself,
Whether you like it or not,
they will try their best
to win you over. Either they buy you
over,
they corrupt you,
they pressure you.
If you don't follow them, you are in
trouble,
but you just have to know who is
your enemy.
People who don't like the truth
against Quran Sunnah
become your enemy too.
You must understand that the enemy comes from
all angles.
If you recite
through the Torah, tomorrow I'll share with you,
you'll get to know more,
yeah.
But there is for tomorrow. If tomorrow comes
and I'm still alive,
For those family members who have not been
there, we keep on praying, may Allah,
yeah,
heal them as soon as possible.
For those who have been far away from
the teaching of Islam, we pray, may Allah
give them hidayah and bring them back.
Last night I spent
the longest night with my younger sister in
Penang.
I was not well.
I was not well.
She was supposed to come and bring me
for dinner.
I was
ready,
suddenly I was not well.
Alhamdulillah Allah gives me help again. I can
feel the energy
in al khadim again.
But alhamdulillah
she was talking to me.
We share a lot
of good things.
I'm talking to her about what prophet Muhammad
said.
May Allah give Hidayah to her.
Yeah.
And to all our friends who are not
yet Muslim,
please don't stop
calling them to Islam.
Talk to them about Islam.
Hidayah is from Allah, not from you, not
from me. Even our prophet cannot give hidayah,
but he has tried his best.
He had done
his duty,
and he was very sad when his beloved
uncle passed away
without saying
la ilaha illa.
And that's when Allah revealed an ayah.
O Muhammad,
you cannot give
hidayah to whoever you like.
I
am the one who give hidayah. Your duty
is to convey.
For those family members
who have passed away,
I just have a call to the
our
very good jama'a in Indonesia
when the husband passed away.
He just feel
some pain in his chest and he went
to the hospital
and he stayed there
and he never came back.
You return back
to Allah,
the one who is very sick is the
wife
who have been sick
for years
and doctor have remind her to do this
but she refused.
But the husband
who is very well
suddenly got
pain, admit hospital
and that is the last time.
Yeah, she
saw the husband.
So life and death,
no one knows
but we will keep on praying for anybody
who have passed away,
especially in the month of ramadan
or Husnil khatima,
where you're doing something good and Allah invite
you back home,
is a blessing.
We hope that Allah also give us, grant
us hosnil
khatima.
So don't forget
to be ready to do more good deeds
before
our time is up.
When our time is up, it's too late.
So once again we welcome all the branch
sisters
who have been
buried close to us,
who are involved with our activities.
Keep on
with the spirit of jama'ah
so that we will always remember all of
you
until we all meet Allah.
So may Allah
strengthen
our iman, our memory.
Don't forget the 3 eye.
